Oklahoma State’s offense showed out against Missouri State on Tuesday.

The Cowgirls plated six runs in the final three innings, including four in the fifth inning, en route to taking the 9-3 victory over the Bears at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater.

OSU’s offense was stagnant going into the fourth inning as it was only up 3-2 heading into the fourth.

Kenny Gajewski and his crew caught fire in the next two innings, especially Caroline Wang and Micaela Wark.

Wang and Wark each had a home run in the contest against the Bears, with Wang’s being a two-run bomb that sealed the victory.

While the offense was a bright spot, the pitching staff remained consistent throughout the contest against Missouri State.

Kyra Aycock got the start in the circle, and she got back to her usual self, giving up three runs on six hits, two walks and eight strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings pitched.

Ivy Rosenberry came on later in the fourth, and she tamed the Bears, giving up zero runs on two hits with seven strikeouts in three innings of work.

Oklahoma State got on the board early in the first inning as Karli Godwin drove in Rosie Davis off the sacrifice fly, making it 1-0.

OSU collected two more runs in the second, including Megan Bloodworth hitting an RBI-triple and scoring Audrey Schneidmiller, helping put the Cowgirls up 3-0 at the end of the inning.

Missouri State would cut into the lead in the third as Olivia Krehbiel scored off an Aycock error, cutting the lead to 3-1.

The Bears would get another run off a passed ball, making it 3-2 and heading into the fourth inning.

Wark would start the fourth off with a bang for the Cowgirls, hitting a solo shot and increasing the Oklahoma State lead to 4-2.

Davis would add to the lead later in the inning, hitting an RBI-double down the left field line, scoring Taylor Anderson and making it 5-2.

After the Bears would get a run in the fifth, Wang would hit the dagger, hitting the two-run home run and putting OSU up 7-3 over Missouri State.

Schneidmiller kept the party going, hitting a two-run bomb of her own over the wall in left field and making it 9-3.

Rosenberry would shut the door in the seventh, securing the victory over Missouri State.

OSU now turns its attention to the No. 2-ranked Texas Longhorns, who come to town for a three-game slate, which begins on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater. The contest will be streamed on ESPN+.
