In-Game Updates: Ole Miss Baseball Hosts Arkansas State in Midweek Action

The Ole Miss Rebels host the Arkansas State Red Wolves for their home opener on Wednesday afternoon.

The Ole Miss Rebels open their home baseball schedule on Wednesday afternoon when they play host to the Arkansas State Red Wolves at Swayze Field.

The Rebels won the first two games of their opening series against the Rainbow Warriors over the weekend, but the final two meetings did not go their way, including a 13-4 blowout loss in the finale on Sunday. Now, the Rebels will take the field for the first time at home and look to open on the right note.

RHP Mason Morris will toe the rubber for Ole Miss to start the game, and Arkansas State is countering with LHP Jalen Martinez. Morris saw 2.2 innings of work in Hawaii last weekend, allowing one hit and walk alongside three strikeouts and no runs.
