LIVE UPDATES: Ole Miss Baseball Opens Weekend Series vs. Iowa
New uniforms and some visitors from Iowa City? That makes for an interesting weekend at Swayze Field in Oxford.
The Ole Miss Rebels are set to play host to the Iowa Hawkeyes this weekend, and as winners of four straight games, they have a lot of momentum trending their way entering another home weekend series.
The Rebels took the final two games of last weekend's series vs. the High Point Panthers before picking up wins in midweek action over the Little Rock Trojans and Missouri State Bears on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
Ole Miss is also set to debut some new uniforms on Friday night, featuring a cream set with a new navy hat featuring the "script M" logo that has become an alternate look across multiple sports on campus.

FIRST INNING
After a video review results in an out call at first base being upheld, Gunnar Dennis retires the Hawkeyes in order in the top of the first.
MID 1: Ole Miss 0, Iowa 0
With one out, Andrew Fischer takes a 97 mph fastball the other way and stands at second with a double.
A wild pitch advanced Fischer to third, but Ross and Furniss strike out to end the inning.
END 1: Ole Miss 0, Iowa 0
SECOND INNING
Iowa logs an infield single with two down in the inning, and a balk moves the runner to second.
A groundout to second ends the frame.
MID 2: Ole Miss 0, Iowa 0
The Rebels are retired in order in the bottom of the second.

FIFTH INNING
