Ole Miss has struggled in recent weeks, but it got back in the win column on Tuesday night.

The Ole Miss Rebels found some offensive momentum on Tuesday night, taking care of the Memphis Tigers on the road in a 7-2 final score.

The Rebels scratched across two runs in the first inning followed by one in the third and a four-spot in the fourth. Kemp Alderman led the team in RBIs with three, and Jacob Gonzalez, Garrett Wood, Anthony Calarco and Reagan Burford all drove home one apiece.

Ole Miss' biggest inning at the plate came via a double from Gonzalez (1 RBI), a single from Alderman (2 RBI) and a bases-loaded walk from Burford (1 RBI).

Tuesday also marked the best start of the season for right-handed freshman Grayson Saunier, working five innings complete and allowing just one run and two walks. He was relieved on the mound by Sam Tookoian, Cole Ketchum and Braydon Jones in the latter innings.

With the win, Ole Miss improves to 17-11 overall on the year, and it will carry that record with its 1-8 conference mark into this weekend's series against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Rain is in the forecast for the weekend in Oxford, but as of now, the series between the two rivals is scheduled to start on Thursday night.

The first two games between Ole Miss and Arkansas will be available on SEC Network+, and the final matchup will be on SEC Network.
