Kemp Alderman has a history of punishing baseballs.

The Ole Miss Rebels outfielder and slugger has participated in the MLB Draft combine this week, and he is continuing that streak of pop off his bat. On Tuesday, Alderman recorded the highest exit velocity of any participant at the plate, registering a blistering 111.4 MPH. 6-4-3 Charts on Twitter released the highest exit velocity numbers on Wednesday.

Alderman was also second in average exit velocity, coming behind only Jonathon Long of Long Beach State in that category. His average exit velo registered over the century mark as well at 100.5 MPH.

Alderman was a part of the Rebels' national championship run in 2022, but he really burst onto the scene in 2023 as far as his batting average is concerned. Putting up a .286 mark in that category in 2022, he pushed that number to .376 this season, good for best on the Ole Miss roster.

Over the course of his three-year college career, Alderman hit 31 home runs, including 19 this season and 11 in the national title year. He was also responsible for 107 RBI at the plate, 61 of which came in 2023.

Despite a lackluster season as a team on the diamond, Alderman was a bright spot for Ole Miss, and he now turns the page to his professional career. If these numbers at the plate continue, a Major League franchise is getting some solid pop at the plate with his selection.
