OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels split Friday's doubleheader against the Arkansas Razorbacks, falling 11-2 in game one and earning a 7-4 win in game two.

Game one between the two teams saw a rough outing from Rebels starter Jack Dougherty, going 4.1 innings and allowing eight runs, six of which were earned. Brayden Jones and Jordan Vera threw in relief of Dougherty, combining to allow three runs on the hill.

Kemp Alderman was responsible for both Ole Miss RBIs, hitting a two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Game two between the Rebels and Razorbacks was much more favorable to the home team as starter Xavier Rivas threw six complete, allowing just two runs on five hits. Mitch Murrell and Mason Nichols threw in relief, and Murrell was tabbed for the other two Arkansas runs in the win.

Ole Miss saw two home runs in game two, one from Ethan Lege and the other from Ethan Groff. Lege also led the team in RBIs with four, three of which came on his home run, and the other came on a single in the bottom of the fourth.
