WEEKEND PREVIEW: Ole Miss Rebels Baseball Hosts Purdue Boilermakers
OXFORD, Miss. -- The No. 4 Ole Miss Rebels have started their season on a solid note, and they will look to continue that trend with a weekend series against the Purdue Boilermakers beginning on Friday.
Prior to this series, Ole Miss has recently swept the Cambria College Classic and picked up a dominating midweek win over nationally-ranked Southern Miss on Tuesday. This marks the final non-conference weekend series of the year for Ole Miss, and the Rebels will open SEC play next weekend when they travel to face the No. 7 Vanderbilt Commodores.
This week, however, Ole Miss opens spring break with a set against the Boilermakers followed by a midweek set at the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. Below is The Grove Report's preview of the weekend series between Ole Miss and Purdue.
