LIVE UPDATES: Ole Miss Opens Conference Play vs. Tennessee
The No. 22 Ole Miss Rebels open Southeastern Conference play on Saturday night when they travel to face the No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville.
The Rebels enter this game with a perfect 13-0 record after going unbeaten through non-conference play, and they will put that record on the line tonight as a sizeable underdog against the Vols. Ole Miss head coach Chris Beard discussed his team's hot start and growth earlier this week during media availability.
"I'm proud of this team," Beard said. "These guys have bought in. Now it's a matter of going out there and trying to play our best basketball when it matters most. For us, that's this second season, the second season of conference play."
