The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team is set to do battle with the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens on Tuesday night in what will be the team's final road match of the 2024 season.

The Rebels are coming off a narrow road victory over the Missouri Tigers, and will look to finish the regular season will a small win streak after finishing February with an 1-6 record. Ole Miss will secure a winning season in Chris Beard's first year with the program, but the Rebels have fallen out of favorable tournament projections after suffering a handful of blowout losses since conference play began.

PREGAME

FIRST HALF

1H U16 -- Georgia won the opening tip, and scored first thanks to two free throws courtesy of a Jaemyn Brakefield foul. Two dunks by Moussa Cisse put the Rebels on the board, but Ole Miss is trailing Georgia 8-4 at the first media timeout of the game. 

1H U12 -- The Rebels are trailing the Bulldogs 11-6 at the U12 timeout and are struggling on both sides of the court. Ole Miss has made one of its last eight field goal attempts and has committed four turnovers in the last six minutes.

1H U8 -- Georgia still leads Ole Miss 20-17, but the Rebels have found a rhythm on offense, as they have nailed four of their last five field goal attempts. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, have not scored in the last two-and-a-half minutes.

1H U4 -- The Rebels are keeping pace with the Bulldogs, but they still trail 31-25 with two minutes remaining in the first half. Seniors Allen Flanigan and Jaemyn Brakefield currently lead Ole Miss in scoring with seven points each.

HALF: Georgia 35, Ole Miss 32

SECOND HALF

2H U16 -- The Rebels tied the game early thanks to a three-pointer from Jaemyn Brakefield, and they now lead the Bulldogs 41-40 at the U16 timeout. Brandon Murray, Jaylen Murray, and Moussa Cisse have each contributed a bucket to help give Ole Miss the lead.

2H U12 -- Georgia has retaken the lead, as Ole Miss has not scored in the last three-and-a-half minutes. The Rebels are trailing the Bulldogs 45-41 with less than 12 minutes remaining in the game.

2H U8 -- Ole Miss trails Georgia 55-47 at the U8 timeout. The Bulldogs are trying to pull away, as they have made their last three field goal attempts.

2H U4 -- The Rebels are trailing the Bulldogs 61-54 at the U4 timeout, and it is now or never if Ole Miss wants to win this game. Jaylen Murray knocked down a jumper ahead of the final media timeout of the evening.
