LIVE UPDATES: Ole Miss Hosts Struggling Missouri in SJB Pavilion

The Ole Miss Rebels will look to end their ongoing losing streak on Saturday night when they host the Missouri Tigers in the Sandy and John Black Pavilion.

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball will aim to put an end to its three-game losing streak on Saturday night when it hosts the Missouri Tigers in the Sandy and John Black Pavilion. 

Ole Miss has not won a game in February, but this is the game to get things back on track, as Missouri is sitting dead last in the SEC with an 8-16 overall record and is winless in conference play entering Saturday night. The Rebels are favored to win by 11.5 points. Senior guard Matthew Murrell currently leads Ole Miss in scoring with 16.8 points per game.

PREGAME

FIRST HALF

1H U16 -- Ole Miss won the tip, and quickly got out to a 9-4 lead over Mizzou in the opening minutes. The Rebels entered the first media timeout of the game with a 12-6 lead over the Tigers after guard Jaylen Murray sunk a three-pointer to extend Ole Miss' advantage.

1H U12 -- The Rebels hold a 17-12 lead over the Tigers at the second media timeout of the half. Murray hit another three-pointer to extend Ole Miss' lead, but the Rebels have not added to that lead in over a minute and a half.

1H U8 -- Missouri went on an 11-0 run and was beating Ole Miss 19-17 after the Rebels went nearly four minutes without making a basket. Mizzou now holds a 23-22 lead over Ole Miss with less than eight minutes in the first half.

1H U4 -- The Rebels and Tigers continue to battle back and forth in the final minutes of the first period. The score is tied 27-27 at the final media timeout of the half, thanks to Murray's fourth three-pointer of the game.

HALF: Missouri 33, Ole Miss 30

SECOND HALF

2H U16 -- Mizzou still holds a 40-38 lead over Ole Miss, but the Rebels are fighting with less than 16 minutes remaining in the game. The Rebels need to pick it up offensively, however, as they have not made a shot in nearly four minutes.

2H U12 -- The Rebels still have a chance to comeback, but they need to act fast, as the Tigers hold a 56-49 lead with 11 minutes remaining in the game.

2H U8 -- Ole Miss has found life with less than eight minutes in the game, as the Rebels now hold a 61-58 lead over Mizzou. Ole Miss went on a 9-0 scoring run to take back the lead in the second half.

2H U4 -- The Rebels are in control, but they have to finish strong if they want to send the Tigers home with a loss. Ole Miss is beating Mizzou 69-62 with less than four minutes remaining in the game.
