Ole Miss Basketball vs. Texas A&M: Preview, How To Watch, Betting Odds
The Ole Miss Rebels will likely not be participating in the NCAA Tournament this season, but head coach Chris Beard is hoping for a strong crowd in his team's regular season finale on Saturday afternoon against the Texas A&M Aggies.
The Rebels come in after dropping a 69-66 road game against the Georgia Bulldogs earlier this week, one that essentially put an end to the team's outside tournament hopes for the 2023-24 season. Beard discussed his hopes for the home atmosphere earlier this week in media availability.
"I know it's a lot easier to do when you're playing that last home game trying to win the SEC regular season championship," Beard said. "That's not the reality we're in right now, but I do think these players are worthy of a good crowd on Saturday. These guys have tried. [Jaemyn Brakefield] and [Matthew Murrell] are going to graduate from Ole Miss in the spring.
"We're just hoping we can have a great final home game this season."
Texas A&M, on the other hand, is entering Saturday's game after picking up a 75-69 home win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Wednesday of this week. Here's an overarching preview of the action set to take place in Oxford, including how to watch and betting odds.
