4-Star Forward Rashaud Marshall Re-Commits To Ole Miss

2023 4-star power forward Rashaud Marshall has again re-committed to the Ole Miss Rebels.

OXFORD, Miss. -- After going back and forth between the Ole Miss Rebels and open recruitment, 2023 4-star forward Rashaud Marshall officially re-committed to the program on Monday.

The star power forward out of Blytheville, Ark., originally de-committed from the Rebels on Feb. 28 after then-head coach Kermit Davis was fired, but later re-committed on March 13 after Ole Miss hired Chris Beard to fix its basketball program.

He then de-committed again on April 27, before pledging to Beard once again on Monday.

Here is On3's scouting report on Marshall:

“Rashaud Marshall is strong a, burly post player on the block. He is physical on the block, buries his man deep, and gives a big target. Marshall has good hands and can finish, through contact, with both hands around the basket. He did not take a jump shot, but the free-throw form looked like you could build on it. There were a couple plays where he ripped through and attacked from the top of the key. Hard worker, blue-collar, and one to watch enter the rankings at the next update.”

The 6-foot-8, 215-pound prospect is the No. 2 player in the state of Arkansas as well as the No. 92 overall player and No. 18 power forward in the 2023 cycle.

Fortunately for Ole Miss, they now get Marshall back on a team that is in the midst of a major rebuild under Beard.
