The Ole Miss Rebels had not taken the floor in almost a week, and they survived a challenge from the No. 11-seed Florida Gators on Friday night in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament, pulling out an 84-74 win in Greenville, S.C.

Ole Miss entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed, and it trailed the Gators 21-15 at the end of the first quarter, but it had closed the gap to 37-36 by halftime.

The second half was a back-and-forth affair, and the Rebels clung to a 56-54 lead entering the final period. It was then that Ole Miss was able to pull away, outscoring the Gators 28-20 in the fourth quarter to come away with the win.

Marquesha Davis led Ole Miss in scoring with 33 points, and she was joined in double digits by Kennedy Todd-Williams (18) and Madison Scott (14) in double digits. As a team, the Rebels shot 42.2 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from three in the 10-point win.

Florida, by comparison, shot 38.6 and 55.6 percent in those categories, respectively.

With the win, Ole Miss advances to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament which are scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on Saturday night in Greenville. The game between Ole Miss and two-seed LSU will be televised on ESPNU.
