STANFORD, Calif. -- The Ole Miss Rebels open their NCAA Tournament run on Friday night when they face the Gonzaga Bulldogs in Stanford.

Although the storylines surrounding the SJB Pavilion over the last week have been centered on the men's basketball program's hiring of Chris Beard, Ole Miss has now made back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the first time since 1995 and 1996, and it was eliminated in the first round of last year's big dance. The Rebels reached the second round of the SEC Tournament last week where they were knocked off by No. 1 seed South Carolina.

The Rebels enter the tournament as an eight seed, and they will travel across the country for the first round of action to face the nine seed Bulldogs.

Below is a preview of the Rebels and Bulldogs on Friday night from Stanford.
