OXFORD -- The Ole Miss Rebels are ranked in the AP Top 25 for the first time since the 2019 season, coming in at No. 25 in the latest installment of the poll released on Monday.

The Rebels received 180 votes to crack the top 25, and they are one of three SEC programs to be listed in the rankings, joining the Tennessee Volunteers (No. 8) and Kentucky Wildcats (No. 9).

Other Southeastern Conference teams who received votes in the poll include Auburn (87), Texas A&M (9), Alabama (3), South Carolina (1) and Mississippi State (1).

Ole Miss holds a record of 10-0 after taking down the California Golden Bears 88-78 on Saturday night in the Hall of Fame Series in San Antonio. That game also marked the first appearance of the season for transfer guard Brandon Murray who has awaited a decision from the NCAA on a transfer waiver thus far in 2023.

The Rebels will return to the floor (and to their home court) on Tuesday night when they play host to the Troy Trojans. Tip-off at the SJB Pavilion is set for 6 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on SEC Network+.
