Women's Bracketology: Ole Miss Projected to Face Ivy League School in NCAA Tournament

The Ole Miss Rebels are still firmly in the NCAA Tournament field, according to projections.

The Ole Miss Rebels may not take the floor on Sunday, but it still provides an opportunity to see how Coach Yo's women stand in the latest NCAA Tournament projections.

According to Charlie Creme's latest women's bracketology update, Ole Miss is currently projected to be an eight-seed in the women's NCAA Tournament, matched up with nine-seed Princeton in the Portland 4 portion of the bracket.

Princeton's women have put up an impressive 2023-24 campaign thus far, currently holding an 18-3 overall record and a perfect 8-0 within the Ivy League. The three losses have come against nationally-ranked teams in UCLA and Indiana as well as a close road loss to Rhode Island.

By comparison, Ole Miss (16-7, 6-4 SEC) has dropped back-to-back games on the hardwood, most recently at the hands of Texas A&M by a final score of 72-53 at home. Prior to that loss, it fell to No. 1 South Carolina in a blowout in Columbia.
