Ex-Ole Miss DE Tavius Robinson Signs Rookie Deal with Baltimore
OXFORD, Miss. -- Former Ole Miss Rebels defensive end Tavius Robinson is now officially a Baltimore Raven. Robinson, who was a fourth-round pick at No. 124 overall by the Ravens in last month's 2023 NFL Draft, officially signed his rookie contract with the team on May 6, according to ProFootballTalk. Robinson and Baltimore agreed to terms on a four-year rookie deal.
Robinson was the second Ole Miss prospect selected in the draft after he led the Rebels in sacks (seven) and forced fumbles (five) this fall as a senior. Robinson also notched 44 tackles, 8.0 TFLs, and one pass breakup in his final collegiate season. In three seasons with Ole Miss, the Guelph, Ontario, native recorded 90 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 14 TFLs, and five forced fumbles. Robinson appeared in 34 games at Ole Miss after transferring in from the University of Guelph in Ontario ahead of the 2020 season.
The massive 6-foot-6, 265-pound defender has the size and athleticism to become a key part of the Baltimore front seven if he develops properly. While he primarily comes off the edge, Robinson has the versatility to kick inside, he just needs to put on a little bit of professional weight. Robinson was Baltimore's third pick of the draft.
