Former Ole Miss WR Elijah Moore Suffers Scary Injury on 'TNF'
Former Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver Elijah Moore suffered what appeared to be a head injury during "Thursday Night Football" between his Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets this week.
Moore caught a pass from quarterback Joe Flacco in the second quarter of Thursday's game before being tackled by Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley. During the play, Moore's head hit the turf and remained on the ground, suffering what appeared to be involuntary movements by his head and arms.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Moore was later able to leave the field on his own power, and he went toward the medical tent and later the locker room.
He did not return to play in the Browns' 37-20 win, and he finished the game with five catches for 61 yards and a score.
