Lane Kiffin Shares Photo of Son Knox in USC Trojans Jersey, Cites Newfound Trolling Ability
Knox Kiffin may be taking after his dad as far as trolling is concerned.
Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin is famous for his career stop with the USC Trojans, most notably his firing on the tarmac, but could his son still have some allegiances to his dad's former job, however? On Sunday, Kiffin tweeted a photo of his son Knox in a USC jersey, citing his son's newfound ability to troll his father given his history with the Trojans.
"Who would of thought???" Kiffin said in his post. "Thanks for taking good care of him and his buddy Hud @LincolnRiley. He said your are his new favorite USC coach ever. My own son trolling me."
Kiffin was an assistant at USC from 2001-06, and he returned to Los Angeles as the head coach during the 2010-13 seasons. It was during the 2013 season that saw Kiffin's infamous "firing on the tarmac" that he still references in media availabilities today.
Knox Kiffin has been known to work out with quarterbacks from time to time, even showing flashes of a future career in the game himself. The youngest Kiffin would not be able to sign a letter of intent until 2028, but he has also released a "way-too-early" tongue-in-cheek top five schools.
Ironically enough, he did not list USC in his selections, but maybe Lincoln Riley will have something to say about that in the future.
