Lane Kiffin Takes to Twitter Regarding Jim Harbaugh NCAA News
Lane Kiffin is back at it on Twitter, this time regarding news about Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh and the NCAA.
Harbaugh and Michigan are under investigation for an indecent that occurred during the COVID-19 dead period. It was looking like the Michigan head coach was going to be suspended for the first four games of the season, but it "hit roadblocks this week," according to sources from ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Kiffin, who is no stranger when it comes to mixing it up on Twitter, tweeted out an ESPN article detailing the Harbaugh resolution.
"Sources - - NCAA deal with Michigan's Jim Harbaugh rejected - ESPN," Kiffin tweeted.
ESPN reported the news on Saturday night.
"It had been widely expected that the committee would approve a four-game suspension for Harbaugh to start the 2023 season, but that hit roadblocks this week, according to sources," Thamel wrote.
SEC Network host Paul Finebaum broke it down himself saying it was a "disaster on both sides." He said "Harbaugh could have gotten out of this by admitting that he misled NCAA investigators."
Michigan doesn't seem to be affected by this other than some bad media coverage, but will look to make another run at the College Football Playoff this season.
