Today's Locked On Ole Miss Podcast discusses Ole Miss football and Lane Kiffin having some position battles that are going to be the story of fall camp. Jaxson Dart and Spencer Sanders will compete for the starting quarterback position, and while I think Dart will win out in the end, this is how Spencer Sanders could become relevant this season.

In the second segment of the show, we talk about the new commitment to Ole Miss football in Shamaar Darden from Tupelo High School. We look at his profile, and I try to explain what that actually means. Then, I wonder out loud if there is any coincidence in him being offered two weeks after Pete Golding was hired at Ole Miss.

In our final segment of the day, we breakdown Darden’s video in which we see a fluid athlete that is physical and hyper-aggressive. I have no idea of whether he will pan out in recruiting, but there are several intangibles that come into play when recruiting Tupelo High School.
