LOOK: Ole Miss Hypes No. 4 Jersey Playmakers in Mock Game

The Rebels have two players wearing No. 4 this season who are expected to make a big impact.

If you want young talent, the Ole Miss Rebels have it, and two of their biggest pieces wear the same jersey number.

All-American running back Quinshon Judkins and true freshman Suntarine Perkins both wear No. 4 for the Rebels, and they both saw some of the spotlight on the team's social media on Saturday. Ole Miss held a mock game in preparation for its season opener against Mercer on Sept. 2, and both Judkins and Perkins drew attention.

You can see the posts below.

After a stellar freshman season, Judkins was named to every Preseason All-America team this year, and he has even gained some traction as a potential dark horse candidate for the Heisman Trophy. Perkins is just entering his freshman campaign, but he has already turned heads in fall camp for Ole Miss.

"Perkins, for a freshman, he's progressing a lot," linebacker Ashanti Cistrunk said during camp. "He's got it all. I've kind of taken him under my wing, helping him understand the defense more. We're looking good at linebacker. I can't wait to see it come together."

There are many jersey numbers that have etched their way into Ole Miss lore. Could the No. 4 be next? These two playmakers will begin their 2023 trek in that direction on Saturday.
