LOOK: Ole Miss Rebels Release Patriotic Uniforms For Home Game vs. Louisiana-Monroe

The Ole Miss Rebels are donning a classic look with a twist when ULM comes to town on Saturday.

OXFORD, Miss. -- The No. 13 Ole Miss Rebels are reviving a classic look this week when they host the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium...a classic look with a slight twist.

Ole Miss will be donning navy helmets, red jerseys and gray pants on Saturday morning, but the navy helmets feature the team's patriotic helmet decals: the Ole Miss script with an American flag background. Saturday not only marks senior day for Ole Miss, but it is also the team's military appreciation game, coinciding with the recently-passed Veteran's Day.

You can view the uniform reveal below.

The Rebels wear these helmet decals once a season, and they have been seen on each of the team's lids in recent years, including the white and powder blue helmets. Saturday will mark the first time since Ole Miss hosted Auburn in 2020 that it is donning navy helmets, red jerseys and gray pants, even if the helmet decals are different than the traditional look.

Ole Miss is coming off a disappointing blowout loss to the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs in Athens last week, but it still has a chance to secure 10 or 11 wins this season. If the Rebels win on Saturday and pick up a win in the annual Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving against Mississippi State, they will finish with 10 regular season wins for just the second time in program history, the first of which came in 2021.

If those feats take place, the attention would shift to a bowl game, and Ole Miss has never won 11 games in a single season, something it could do with a postseason victory.

Kickoff on Saturday between Ole Miss and ULM is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT, and the game will be televised on SEC Network.
