The Ole Miss Rebels are keeping with tradition on Thursday night when they face the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the annual Egg Bowl, opting for a classic look in the uniform department.

The Rebels, as has become custom in recent road Egg Bowls, will be donning navy helmets, white jerseys and gray pants when they face State on Thursday night. You can view the uniform reveal below, complete with modeling from running back Ulysses Bentley IV.

This will mark the 12th different uniform combination worn by Ole Miss in as many games this season, and it has worn this same combo for road games against Mississippi State dating back to 2015.

The Rebels have gone 2-1 against the Bulldogs since Lane Kiffin arrived in Oxford in 2020 with the lone loss in the series coming last season in Oxford. Ole Miss has not lost in Starkville since the 2019 season, and dating back to 2015, it has gone 2-1 at Davis Wade Stadium.

Ole Miss is having to prep for artificial noisemakers once again in the form of cowbells, and Kiffin discussed that aspect of game prep on the Reb Talk radio show on Tuesday night.

"We've played [the cowbells] on the loudspeakers - very loud - during practice the entire time. Which is annoying," Kiffin said via Ole Miss Sports Network. "I could use a history lesson on why that's not disallowed. I've been in other conferences where there were noise makers that fans had, and they got rid of them."

Kickoff between the Rebels and Bulldogs is set for 6:30 p.m. CT on Thursday night, and the game will be televised on ESPN.
