NFL Combine: Three Rebels Aim For Pros in Indianapolis
Three Ole Miss Rebels are set to participate in the NFL Combine this week in Indianapolis, looking to improve their draft stock as a launching point for their professional careers.
Rebels Deantre Prince (CB), Cedric Johnson (OLB/DE) and Daijahn Anthony (S) have all accepted invitations to participate in this year's NFL Combine set to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Feb. 29-March 3.
Prince has been on Ole Miss' roster since 2021, and he has totaled six interceptions over the course of four seasons. He spent the 2020 season at Northwest Mississippi Community College before returning to Oxford the following year. His lone interception in 2023 came in Week 2 against the Tulane Green Wave, one that he returned for 44 yards.
Johnson was the recipient of the 2023 Chucky Mullins Courage Award at Ole Miss, and he has also spent four years in a Rebel uniform. He put up a career total of 19 sacks in those four years, including 5.5 this season alongside a forced fumble.
Anthony originally suited up with the Liberty Flames (2021-22) at the Division I level before transferring to Ole Miss for his final collegiate season. In 2023, he registered 61 total tackles and intercepted three passes, adjusting well to life in the Southeastern Conference.
All three of these Rebels will also participate in Ole Miss' Pro Day set to take place on March 27. The action at the NFL Combine can be seen on NFL Network, NFL+ and NFL.com, and you can see the schedule for the week below.
