Ole Miss vs. Arkansas Opening Betting Odds, Over/Under
Oxford, Miss. -- The No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels (4-1, 1-1 SEC) take on the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-3, 0-2 SEC) at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday in Week 6, and early lines have been released for the divisional contest.
The Rebels held a nine-point edge in the opening line, with the over/under set at 68.5 points, per The Circa Sportsbook.
Ole Miss has covered the spread in four-of-five games this season, maintaining a 3-0 record when playing as favorites of at least nine points. They have exceeded the combined scoring total three times. In contrast, the Razorbacks haven’t performed well against the spread, with a 2-3 record.
Last season, Arkansas convincingly defeated Ole Miss in Fayetteville with a score of 42-27. While Ole Miss doesn’t seem to be collapsing like it was at the time of the game in 2022, the Razorbacks have always played the Rebels resiliently, so Saturday's meeting could set up the same way.
In the last three encounters between these two teams, Arkansas has held a 2-1 advantage over Ole Miss. The Razorbacks have covered the spread successfully in all three of these games against the Rebels, and in two of those instances, the combined score has exceeded the total points predicted.
The Ole Miss offense performance thus far is self-evident, as it is ranked No. 8 in total offense nationally. Conversely, if defensive soordinator Pete Golding and his defense fail to discover solutions to their challenges, the Rebels will have their work cut out for them if they want to cover the spread.
