Ole Miss Climbs in AP Poll Following Magnolia Bowl Win Over LSU

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels saw their position in the AP Top 25 rise after knocking off the LSU Tigers at home on Saturday night 55-49.

Ole Miss entered the week ranked at No. 20 after dropping their game against the Alabama Crimson Tide the Saturday prior, but it saw that mark improve to No. 16 this week after the win in the Magnolia Bowl. You can find the entirety of the AP Poll below with Southeastern Conference teams indicated in bold. The change for each team from last week's poll is indicated in parenthesis.

LSU was the biggest mover in this week's poll, dropping 10 spots following their last-second loss to the Rebels on Saturday. The Tigers are the only two-loss team ranked in this week's poll, and they are one of seven SEC teams who made the cut.

Ole Miss moved up four spots, and it will carry that ranking into its home matchup with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
