How Much Did Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin Earn in Bonuses During 2023 Season?
The Ole Miss Rebels not only succeeded on the field this season, but their head coach succeeded in the pocket book, as well.
At the end of the first 11-win season in program history, head coach Lane Kiffin made at least $650,000 in bonuses, according to The Clarion Ledger. That puts him fourth in the country in terms of bonuses earned this season among schools that make their contracts available to the public.
Kiffin comes behind the Michigan Wolverines' Jim Harbaugh, Washington Huskies' Kalen DeBoer, and Louisville Cardinals' Jeff Brohm.
The largest bonus for the fourth-year Ole Miss coach came for the Rebels reaching the Peach Bowl, giving him a $250,000 bump. He also gained $150,000 for the Rebels' fifth and sixth SEC wins of the season and $100,000 for defeating a non-conference Power Five opponent in the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
