Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin Celebrates 3 Years Alcohol-Free on Social Media
Not only is Lane Kiffin a successful football coach, he is also on a successful journey of sobriety, he shared on Tuesday.
The head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels shared a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) celebrating his third year without alcohol consumption, and you can view the post here.
"For those of you that may have something holding you back from being the best version of yourself," Kiffin said. "I encourage you that you can do it! It may seem simple but not easy, but it definitely will be worth it. We only have one shot at this life on earth. Go be the best you can be. #NoLookingBack. 3 years today!!!"
Kiffin arrived in Oxford as the Ole Miss head coach prior to the 2020 season, and he has revitalized a program that was coming off of NCAA probation prior to his hiring. Since he took the job, the Rebels have been to two New Year's Six bowls, including gaining a win in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl this season.
Still, those accomplishments pale in comparison to personal achievements such as these, and Kiffin's message and perseverance in this journey should be a testament to all who seek to follow a similar route.
