Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin Trolls Texas A&M, Auburn on Twitter

If you haven't turned Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin's tweet notifications on, I suggest you do.
In this story:

Lane Kiffin has head coach and a national championship victory as an assistant on his resume, but, after this week, he can add internet troll.

Kiffin has never been shy to take to Twitter, whether it be retweeting quotes, promoting the Ole Miss Rebels' #ComeToTheSip mantra or tweeting at his dog, Juice. However, in the past three days, he has taken aim at Southeastern Conference foes Texas A&M and Auburn.

The Rebels' head coach is entering his fourth year at the helm, and he started his Aggies trolling by posting a photo of one of the opening scenes in "Moneyball" that shows the New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics' payrolls for the 2001 season. The Yankees' dollar figure trumps the A's by $74 million, yet the two were squaring off head-to-head in the American League Division Series that year.

Kiffin's caption on the tweet had an inquisitive emoji before tagging "@t.... ..." — which the number of periods that follow the initial letter have the same amount of spaces as would fit to spell out Texas A&M.

The Bloomington, MN. native was implying that the Aggies were the Yankees, as their football program profited $39 million in the 2022 fiscal year, and the Rebels were the Athletics. In 2022, Ole Miss beat Texas A&M 31-28.

Then Thursday night, Auburn was the next SEC school that wasn't safe from Kiffin's jokes.

The Twitter account No Context College Football, which, like the name suggests, is dedicated to posting funny photos that relate to college football in some way without any context behind the images.

Thursday, the account posted a photo with a graphic that said Auburn was the only SEC school to have convenience store chain Buc-ee's. Kiffin wasn't going to let that slide.

He quote tweeted the photo with a graphic of his own that boasted Ole Miss was the only SEC school with a Chevron gas station that sells chicken on a stick.

"There's the Chevron near campus that sells really good chicken on a stick," the fine print at the bottom of the graphic said. "That's pretty much it."

Kiffin was rated the 14th-best coach in the Power Five by CBS Sports, but when it comes to trolling and Twitter usage, he's certainly No. 1.
