Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Ole Miss Rebels: How To Watch, Betting Odds

Here's how you can watch the Vanderbilt Commodores face the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday.

Rest in peace to the greatest forgotten rivalry in the Southeastern Conference.

Did anyone know the self-proclaimed "Khaki Bowl" was a rivalry to begin with?

The No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels return home following a touchdown win over Auburn to take on a floundering Vanderbilt Commodores roster coming off a bye week. On paper, the Rebels should win this game outright based on talent.

Better quarterback? Check.

A solidified run game? Check.

Face a defense allowing over 400 yards of offense and 36 points per game? Double-check that box.

But doesn't this also make it somewhat a "trap game" for the Rebs? Especially when looking at the schedule ahead? Ole Miss still must face a pesky Texas A&M defense that's kept most run games in check. Not to mention a road trip to Athens to take No. 1 Georgia still lingers in the rear-view mirror.

Ole Miss can't be complacent this week. A victory likely solidifies the Rebels status as the SEC's bronze-placed program, but it also bolsters its conference record in a race to represent the West in Atlanta come early December.

One slip-up and dreams of winning a conference title — let alone a national one — are put on blast. Games aren't won on paper, and Lane Kiffin knows a win in the SEC goes far, regardless of the competition.
