Rebels LB Suntarine Perkins Arrested on DUI, Careless Driving Charges - Report
Ole Miss Rebels linebacker Suntarine Perkins was arrested on DUI and careless driving charges Thursday morning, reports from The Clarion Ledger have indicated.
Perkins was reportedly admitted at 2:40 a.m. CT, and Ole Miss had not responded to the publication's request for a statement, as of this writing.
A former five-star prospect out of high school, Perkins had a solid freshman season for the Rebels and looks to play an even bigger role in their push for a College Football Playoff berth in 2024. Primarily filling an edge-rusher role, he put up 38 tackles and 3.5 sacks last season, and two of those sacks came on the road against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the early portions of the season.
