Ole Miss football added three new coaches this offseason after a record-setting year under Lane Kiffin.

How much will each coach earn in 2024?

Per the Clarion Ledger, the trio will combine to make $1.7 million this fall. New secondary coach and co-defensive coordinator Bryan Brown will earn $750,000, while receivers coach George McDonald and tight ends coach Joe Cox will earn $625,000 and $325,000.

Each contract is expected to expand should the coaches remain in Oxford for the 2025 season. Brown, who recently served as Cincinnati's defensive coordinator last season, will make $825,000 next offseason after signing a two-year deal this winter.

McDonald, who joins the Rebels from Illinois, will earn $675,000 next season as Derrick Nix's replacement. Cox, who previously coached under Nick Saban at Alabama, will earn the largest pay raise next season at $500,000, a $175,000 differential.

Like the rest of the staff, the coaches are eligible for a pay raise given Ole Miss' status in the College Football Playoff hunt. The Rebels, who last season would have qualified for the dozen-team dance with an 11-2 record, remain a front-runner to make the postseason in 2024.

All coaches on playoff teams receive a stipend for their efforts, with the bare minimum being an additional $20,000. Should Ole Miss run through the competition and win the CFP, assistant coaches would make roughly $80,000

Brown replaces Keynodo Hudson, who recently was hired by Texas as a member of its defensive staff. Cox comes to Oxford in place of John David Baker, who recently was named the new offensive coordinator for East Carolina earlier this offseason. Both Hudson and Baker would have made over $325,000 in 2024 should they have remained on staff.

The Rebels return to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for their annual Grove Bowl on April 13 at 3 p.m.
