Rebels OL Nick Broeker Selected by Buffalo Bills With Pick No. 230
The Ole Miss Rebels featured one of the best offensive lines in college football last season, and a key member of that offensive line is off to the NFL as Nick Broeker has been drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the No. 230 overall pick in the seventh round.
Last season the Rebels averaged 496.4 yards per game of total offense, with a staggering 256.6 of those yards coming on the ground behind Broeker and the offensive line.
"A college tackle, Nick Broeker’s technique and above-average movement skills make him a potential spot-starter as a zone-scheme guard; that said, his underwhelming length and power profile are concerning." SI Draft Bible wrote about Broeker.
Broeker will look to compete for a starting spot early along the Bills offensive line, and he could be in line to do so as they ran for 131.3 yards per game last season with superstar quarterback Josh Allen leading the way.
He is the fourth Rebel taken in the 2023 draft, joining receiver Jonathan Mingo, tight end Tavius Robinson and running back Zach Robinson as the dynamic Rebels offense makes its way to the NFL.
While he likely won't start right away for Buffalo he will provide a key depth piece to a team looking to contend for a Super Bowl.
