The No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels are fresh off a close road win over the Auburn Tigers, and as the page turns to Week 9 of the college football season, they appear to already be on their way to another conference win, at least according to Vegas.

In the lines released for this week's action, Ole Miss is currently a 25.5-point favorite against the Vanderbilt Commodores (SI Sportsbook) in Saturday's game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford. The Rebels enter this weekend's game with a 6-1 record and 3-1 mark in the SEC. Vanderbilt, on the other hand, is 2-6 and 0-4 within the conference and would need to win out to ensure bowl eligibility in 2023.

Ole Miss' game against Auburn on Saturday was far from a cakewalk, but head coach Lane Kiffin praised his team after the win at Jordan-Hare Stadium, a place that had historically been a house of horrors for the Rebels.

"I am just really pleased with our players and happy for our fans," Kiffin said. "I don't care what records are going into it. This place at night is a hard place to play. Look at percentages. A lot of people lose in here. For our guys to take over in the second half and really the last play of the third quarter and the fourth quarter was awesome.

"We talked all week about how this season we've been a really good fourth-quarter team, a second-half team, but we had to do it again. That was good to see....To play on the road, we said all week you have to pack your run game and pack your defense to come in here and win, and we did that. The players did that today. It is really good to see we overcame adversity and strange things that happen here like our backup punter not getting the snap and then throwing an interception. Our guys overcame some stuff today."

The Rebels will look to extend their winning streak this weekend when they host the aforementioned Commodores. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
