Ole Miss Star Quinshon Judkins Doubtful, Tre Harris OUT vs. Georgia Tech

Ole Miss could be without arguably their two top offensive players for their Saturday matchup with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

The Ole Miss Rebels are facing a Power Five opponent on Saturday in Oxford at Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium in the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

However, they may be without arguably their two best offensive players when they take the field.

According to reports, Ole Miss star wide receiver Tre Harris will miss Saturday's matchup with a lower-body injury he suffered in the Rebels 37-20 win over the Tulane Green Wave last week.

However, Harris may not be the only loss for the Rebels on Saturday, as star running back Quinshon Judkins was also listed as doubtful vs. the Yellow Jackets.

Harris has gotten off to a fast start in 2023, catching eight passes for 188 yards and five touchdowns in his first two games of the year.

Without Harris in the lineup, the Rebels will have to rely on wideouts Dayton Wade and Jordan Watkins, as well as tight end Michael Trigg to replace that production.

The Rebels would also like to see young players like freshman Ayden Williams step into the spotlight.

Meanwhile, the potential loss of Judkins at running back could also be a major blow for the Rebels.

Thus far in 2023, Judkins has not been the same production machine he was last season. That said, his 31 carries for 108 yards and three scores have been key to the Rebels 2-0 start.

In the absence of Judkins, Ulysses Bentley IV will likely slide into the starting role, with Jam Griffin and Matt Jones taking reserve reps for the Rebels.

The Yellow Jackets and Rebels will kick off at 6:30 pm CT.
