'Staying Home!' Ole Miss RB Ulysses Bentley Announces Return For 2024 Season
OXFORD -- The Ole Miss Rebels have at least one of their running backs in place for the 2024 season following an announcement on Monday afternoon.
Ulysses Bentley IV announced his intention to return to Oxford for another season on Monday, sharing the news on his Instagram account.
"Staying home," Bentley's graphic read on social media.
Bentley, a native of Houston, Texas, spent the first years of his collegiate career with the SMU Mustangs before joining the Ole Miss roster prior to the 2022 season. Now healthy, he experienced a larger role on the Rebels offense in 2023, rushing for 540 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games played.
Former Ole Miss Running Back Visits Premier Power 5 Program After Transfer Decision
This news comes at a strong time for the Rebels as they are likely combing the transfer portal for another addition at running back following the departure of Quinshon Judkins earlier this month, and Bentley's return should help alleviate some of the loss felt by Judkins' transfer decision.
