OXFORD, Miss. -- 247Sports released rankings for the Top 150 players in the NCAA Transfer Portal on Thursday, and eight Ole Miss Rebels made the pecking order.

The Rebels were active during the first transfer portal window and currently have the No. 6 transfer class in the country, highlighted by talented quarterbacks, offensive weapons, and impact players on defense.

Let's see which of Ole Miss' newest additions made the cut and how they will impact Lane Kiffin's squad this fall.

40. QB Walker Howard: Howard departed LSU because he was third string. Now, he’s at Ole Miss as the third string. But he at least projects to be Ole Miss’ QB of the future.

70. WR Chris Marshall: Ole Miss added a five-star talent at wide receiver in Chris Marshall. Somewhat raw as a receiver, with some off-field concerns from his time at A&M, but his upside is incredible.

81. CB John Saunders: Saunders is a big corner at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds for Ole Miss with proven production in the MAC.

89. LB Monty Montgomery: Montgomery is a bit undersized, but he gets into the backfield a ton. He’ll help Ole Miss’ LB room.

99. QB Spencer Sanders: Over in Oxford, I expect Sanders to win the job over last year's ballyhooed transfer, Jaxson Dart. He’s a great fit for Lane Kiffin’s system.

101. WR Trey Harris: I love Harris. Think he could have a breakout year for Ole Miss.

116. CB Zamari Walton: Ole Miss is building its cornerback room with length. And Walton has plenty of it at 6-foot-3. Walton was a four-year starter for Georgia Tech.

123. TE Caden Prieskorn: Ole Miss quietly has a great tight end room with Michael Trigg pairing up with first-team All-AAC tight end Prieskorn.
