OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss Rebels receiver Tre Harris made a name for himself in his first year playing in Lane Kiffin's offense and finished 2023 as one of the best wideouts in the Southeastern Conference. Despite missing a game due to injury, Harris had a career year and wound up being one of the more prolific wideouts in college football this season.

Pro Football Focus released rankings for the 10 highest-graded Power 5 wideouts from 2023 on Thursday, and Harris made the cut. Harris was rated as the sixth-best receiver this season, with a PFF grade of 88.6.

LSU Tigers receiver Malik Nabers led all wideouts with an impressive 93.0 grade, followed by Virginia's Malik Washington (91.1), Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr. (89.9), Washington's Rome Odunze (89.3), Missouri's Luther Burden III (89.2), Oregon's Tez Johnson (87.6), Miami's Xavier Restrepo (87.5), Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan (87.0), and Oregon's Troy Franklin (85.1).

PFF grades are determined on a play-by-play basis, and posit how much an individual player "contributes to production" on every snap.

In 2023, Harris led all Ole Miss receivers with 985 receiving yards while catching 54 receptions and eight touchdowns. Harris made his catches count, as he finished fifth in the SEC in yards per reception with 18.2. In four collegiate seasons, the Lafayette, La., native has registered 160 catches for 2,512 receiving yards, and 22 touchdowns while averaging 15.7 yards per reception.

Harris revealed in December that he would be returning to Ole Miss in 2024 for his final year of eligibility, and he will enter Week 1 as wideout No. 1 in the Rebels' offense.
