ATLANTA, Ga., -- It is time to watch the No. 11 Ole Miss Rebels battle the No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Rebels and Nittany Lions on the gridiron, and it is setting up to be one of the more intriguing New Year's Six matchups this bowl season.

The Rebels are looking to finish their 2023-24 season on a historic note, as a victory for Ole Miss would give the team its first 11-win season in program history. A win for the Rebels would also give them their first NY6 victory under coach Lane Kiffin, and their first bowl victory since 2020-21, when they beat the Indiana Hoosiers in the Outback Bowl.

Pregame

The Rebels will be donning their 13th different uniform combination this season on Saturday, opting to wear powder blue helmets, white jerseys and white pants against the traditional look of Penn State.

Penn State released a list of players who are out for the Peach Bowl, and the Nittany Lions will be without a few crucial starters on Saturday. Both starting cornerbacks Johnny Dixon and Kalen King will be out, as well as star offensive lineman Olu Fashanu.

There was also a number change for the Rebels pregame, as linebacker TJ Dudley has switched from No. 20 to No. 2. It was reported last Friday that Dudley would be making his Ole Miss debut in the Peach Bowl after transferring from the Clemson Tigers this summer.

The Captains for Ole Miss are defensive lineman JJ Pegues, receiver Tre Harris, and running back Ulysses Bentley.
