Ole Miss Receiver Bralon Brown Trusted the Process Even When Uncomfortable

Ole Miss wide receiver Bralon Brown was made available to the media Friday morning.
In this story:

The Ole Miss Rebels unequivocally have one of the fastest and most explosive offenses in College Football. With that comes an adjusting period to acclimate to the speed at which Lane Kiffin runs his offense. For receiver Bralon Brown, it was all about trusting the process.

After only catching one pass in his first two seasons with the Rebels, Brown has a different approach than others would in his situation. Instead of entering the transfer portal, it was about keeping his head down and waiting for his turn.

"AJ Brown spoke to the team about how much he dislikes the transfer portal," Brown said. "It's about staying true to the people that recruited you."

Brown will not hesitate to admit he was uncomfortable in his first few seasons. It was his fellow receivers he said were always there to lift him up.

"If they see someone down, they will pick you right back up," Brown explained. “I feel like a senior in high school right now. I am as comfortable as could be."

With notable returners like Dayton Wade, Jordan Watkins, JJ Henry and newcomers Ayden Williams, Zakhari Franklin and Trey Harris, the wide receiver core is looking to make a splash in the 2023 season.

"We're a deadly offense," Brown said.

The Rebels were the No. 1 rushing attack offense in the Southeastern Conference last fall and with returning talent on the ground and in the air, the Ole Miss offense is going to be among the nation’s most entertaining to watch.
