Rebels Football Shares Highlight Reel of Former Wideout A.J. Brown

The former Ole Miss standout got a shoutout from his alma mater over the weekend.
In this story:

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels have produced some superb wide receivers in school history, but few if any stand above Mississippi native A.J. Brown.

Brown, a native of Starkville, Mississippi, the home of the Rebels' in-state rival Mississippi State Bulldogs, came to Oxford by way of Starkville High School. Following a productive career at Ole Miss, he was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

On Saturday, Ole Miss football shared a compilation of highlights from Brown's career with the Rebels on Twitter. You can view those highlights below.

Brown finished his Ole Miss career as the school record holder in receiving yards (2,984) and 100-yard receiving games (12). Over the course of his three-year stay in Oxford, he hauled in 19 touchdown receptions, 11 of which came in the 2017 season.

Brown now has four NFL seasons under his belt, and his regular season receiving totals have made him one of the top pass catchers in the league. He has tallied over 4,000 receiving yards as well as 35 touchdowns. His career-high for touchdowns in a season (11) has come twice, once with the Titans in 2020 and last season with the Philadelphia Eagles.
