Ole Miss Moves Up in AP Top 25 Following Win Over Tulane

The Rebels saw their place in the polls improve after Saturday's ranked win.

The Ole Miss Rebels moved up in the latest installment of the AP Top 25 poll released on Sunday afternoon, pushing deeper among the top 20 teams in the country.

Ranked at No. 20 in the poll last week, the Rebels saw their position improve to No. 17 entering Week 3 of the college football season. You can find the entirety of the poll below with SEC teams indicated in bold.

In total, the Rebels are one of five teams from the Southeastern Conference to make this week's installment of the AP Poll. Three other SEC teams (Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State) received votes as well.

Also of note is the fact that the Tulane Green Wave fell from No. 24 to out of the poll entirely this week after falling to the Rebels on Saturday. The Green Wave received 17 tallies in this week's voting.

Ole Miss will carry its No. 17 ranking into a home matchup against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
