Ole Miss Ranked No. 22 in First Installment of 2023 Coaches Poll
OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels had a large amount of roster turnover from a season ago, but they found themselves listed in the first installment of the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll on Monday.
This poll is put out weekly during the regular season, utilizing a panel of 63 FBS head coaches. You can find the entirety of the poll listed below with SEC teams indicated in bold.

4. Ohio State Buckeyes
5. LSU Tigers
6. USC Trojans
7. Penn State Nittany Lions
8. Florida State Seminoles
9. Clemson Tigers
10. Tennessee Volunteers
11. Washington Huskies
12. Texas Longhorns
13. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
14. Utah Utes
15. Oregon Ducks
16. TCU Horned Frogs
17. Kansas State Wildcats
18. Oregon State Beavers
19. Oklahoma Sooners
20. North Carolina Tar Heels
21. Wisconsin Badgers
22. Ole Miss Rebels
23. Tulane Green Wave
24. Texas Tech Red Raiders
25. Texas A&M Aggies
In total, six teams from the Southeastern Conference are ranked in the first installment of the poll, and the Rebels will face five teams on this list in the 2023 season, including three of the teams in the top five.
The Rebels' first ranked test of the season (based on the current poll) will come in Week 2 when they travel to face Tulane in New Orleans. Prior to that, Ole Miss will open its season at home against the Mercer Bears on Sept. 2.
