Rebels Rise in AP Top 25 Following Win Over Georgia Tech

Another win means another rise in the polls for Ole Miss this week.

OXFORD, Miss. -- Following their 48-23 home win over the Georgia Yellow Jackets on Saturday night, the Ole Miss Rebels saw another boost in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll this week.

The Rebels entered the week at No. 17 in the AP Poll, but they saw their position improve to No. 15 in the new installment released on Sunday. You can see the entirety of the poll below with SEC teams indicated in bold.

In total, six teams from the Southeastern Conference made the cut in this week's poll, and only one team made the top 10. Three other SEC teams also received votes for the poll: the Missouri Tigers (72), Kentucky Wildcats (10) and Auburn Tigers (1).

These rankings set up a top-15 matchup this week for Ole Miss as they travel to face the No. 13 Alabama Crimson Tide who struggled on the road against the USF Bulls after falling to the Texas Longhorns the week prior. Kickoff between the Rebels and Tide on Saturday is set for 2:30 p.m, CT on CBS.
