Three Key Rebels Listed as 'Doubtful' vs. Alabama

Is this a smokescreen from Lane Kiffin, or will these players not see the field on Saturday?

Three injured offensive weapons are reportedly listed as "doubtful" for the No. 15 Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday afternoon when they face the No. 13 Alabama Crimson Tide.

According to Chris Low of ESPN, Tre Harris (WR), Zakhari Franklin (WR) and Caden Prieskorn (TE) are all doubtful to see the field on Saturday.

"More will be known closer to game time, but sources tell ESPN that @OleMissFB WRs Tre Harris and Zakhari Franklin and TE Caden Prieskorn are doubtful vs. Alabama with injuries," Low said on social media. "All three practiced some this week. If they're able to play, it would likely be on a limited basis."

Low reported a similar development regarding running back Quinshon Judkins last week prior to the Rebels' win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Judkins was limited in his touches, but he did see the field throughout the game on Saturday night.

Could this be a smokescreen from Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin to keep the Tide guessing leading up to kickoff, or will these players who have battled injuries all season actually not see the field of play?

Like Low said, we will likely know more closer to kickoff. For now, however, as the clock nears game time for the Rebels and Tide, you can see our staff predictions for the game here, and you can also view the keys to the game for both teams.

Ole Miss and Alabama are scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on CBS.
