WATCH: Video of Security Guard Goes Viral as Ole Miss Celebrates Magnoia Bowl Win

As Ole Miss Rebels fans rushed the field following their win over the LSU Tigers on Saturday, one security guard made waves on social media.
In this story:

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Southeastern Conference has attempted to crackdown on fans storming the field after big wins, but at the school that "never loses a party" that's a little difficult to enforce. Unless, of course, you're a security guard against a female Ole Miss student.

A video from Saturday night's field rushing celebration has gone viral on social media, not because of the elation in Oxford, but because of a security guard who struggled to contain the excited fans. One female fan, however, found herself on the receiving end of a brunt hit from this security guard.

Bunkie Perkins, an Ole Miss fan known for his humor on X (formerly known as Twitter), said: "Security or LSU’s defense?"

It's a valid question as both Ole Miss and LSU struggled to stop the other's offense on Saturday night, leading to a thrilling 55-49 final score in favor of the Rebels.

"Red dress has got to have more field awareness," Perkins continued in another post.

In all seriousness, Saturday's win was big for Ole Miss, and its fans recognized it. The Rebels pulled off a back-and-forth offensive affair, giving head coach Lane Kiffin one of the biggest (if not the biggest) wins since he arrived in Oxford.

Kiffin and company will look to keep the offensive momentum going (and try to patch up its "security guard defense) this week in preparation for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Kickoff at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is slated for 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, and the game can be seen on SEC Network.
