The projected number-one overall pick Travis Bazzana continues to add awards to his Oregon State trophy case. He was selected to the First-Team All-American squad of the College Baseball foundation this week. This makes Bazzana the sixth player in program history to accomplish the feat of earning unanimous All-American honors.

Bazzana was also named an All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), Baseball America, D1Baseball.com, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and Perfect Game.

In 2024, Bazzana slashed .407/.568/.911/1.479 with 28 home runs and 66 RBIs. Bazzana was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year for the 2024 season

The most recent Beavers to be selected unanimously as a First-Team All-Americans were outfielder Jacob Melton and pitcher Cooper Hjerpe in 2022. Others to earn the honor were Michael Conforto, pitcher Jake Thompson and catcher Adley Rutschman.

Bazzana has the chance to become the first overall pick of the draft. Adley Rutschman was the last Beaver to go number one overall. In the most recent MLB Pipeline mock draft, Bazzana was projected as the number one overall pick to the Cleveland Guardians.

The MLB Draft begins Sunday, July 14.
