3 Notable 2025 California Recruits Still On The Board For Oregon State Football
The Oregon State Beavers currently have a reported group of 11 commitments in the class of 2025. As Jonathan Smith left at the end of November 2023, this will be the first high school group that Trent Bray's staff will bring across the finish line. With the college season beginning, there are still a few opportunities for the class to gain commitments at a few key positions.
As the Beavers continue to dip into the talent-rich state of California, keep an eye on these three recruits that could provide a substantial boost to the class. Early Signing Day is December 4, 2024.

Caden Butler - WR - Temecula, CA
A 6'0" 175-pound receiver from Chaparral High School, Butler visited Oregon State this past fall. He makes the switch to California from Olathe, Kansas this season, where he has 28 catches for 456 yards and a touchdown over the last two seasons, in which he played 13 games. Butler has a three-star rating from 247Sports with other offers from Colorado, Oregon, Missouri, and more.
Jessie Wishon - Interior OL - Long Beach, CA
Wishon also has reported offers from Colorado State, Penn State, Nevada, San Jose State, Portland State, and New Mexico State. A two-time Moore League all-conference selection, Wishon is a guard with reported measurements of 6'3" and 285 pounds. The three-star recruit would be the third offensive line commitment in the class of 2025 for the Beavers, if he does choose Trent Bray's squad.
Bejamin Thurman - EDGE/WR - Berkeley, CA
At 6'4" and 240 pounds, Thurman's size is very intriguing given his positions. The Beavs only have one other commitment at the position currently. Thurman, a three-star prospect, reportedly also has offers from Nevada and San Jose State.
