ESPN college football experts Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach released their preseason projections for the 2024 college football bowl season on Wednesday, naming potential locations for roughly half of FBS programs.

When it came to the Oregon State Beavers, Bonagura and Schlabach were split on a destination. Bonagura projected OSU to face NC State in the DirecTV Holiday Bowl at San Diego's Snapdragon Stadium. Meanwhile, Schlabach projected the Beavers to face the Iowa State Cyclones in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The Holiday Bowl does not have a set date yet while the Independence Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, December 28.

All the recently departed members of the Pac-12 are eligible for Pac-12-affiliated bowls this season. Both the Independence Bowl and Holiday Bowl are affiliated with the conference.

The Beavers have a record of 12-8 all-time in bowl games, with trips to postseason in each of the last three seasons. Oregon State's new football season is set to begin on August 31 when the Beavers host the Idaho Bengals.
